Trans Mountain

Parlimentary budget office says it won't be possible for Freeland and Castreau to sell the Trans Mountain Pipe for a profit. Castreau let the costs get so out of hand building the thing that profitability is now impossible. If the idiot had just backed off and helped out Kinder Morgan any way he could, we wouldn't be here. :Poilievre should just sell it off at a loss and save the billion or so a year we pay on interest.

By the time this thing gets sold, the sale price + the taxes generated from start up thru to the sale date will most likely result in the government (meaning us taxpayers)  having recouped all of their money.  the sale is rumoured around 25 billion. Hopefully goes directly on debt under the PP regime.

lol man the word "profit " is a word the stupid libtards don't know , it doesn't exist in their language the only words they know is "scandals" "deficits " climate change " " Canadians frustrated " , profit is a taboo word .....

KM wanted out bc they saw it wasn’t going to be profitable. But we wanted a pipeline and got one. The answer is a $1.50 export levy pb, not increasing tolls. Enbridge cut tolls to the Gulf in August by more to compete with TMX, so $ are there.   Otherwise, tell me why to invest in Veren, or not.

"WE" don't pay a billion a year in interest....Trans Mountain does... and a billion is about what TMX gets in tolls per year....Because of TMX the "discount" has narrowed to 11 bucks a barrel as opposed to the historical 15......4 million x 4 bucks is an extra 16 million dollars A DAY in revenue for AB oil companies. Because of TMX oil sands operators plan on inceasing ...more

AND THAT IS IF YOU DON'T MIND 11 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR IN LOST REVENUE FOR AB OIL PRODUCERS (30M x 365 days)
