Whitecap Resources Inc > upgrades finally look like 12 month targets...

upgrades finally look like 12 month targets...

you know...there has been alot of complaining about analysts increasing their targets to the "new" 52 week high as they are achieved....and now that they are actually doing reasonable 12 month targets there is complaining....

Lets keep some perspective folks...analyst targets are 1 year projections, not next week or next month....

have they been pathetic over the last year....absolutetly...

will WCP hit $10...yup....

will it require more NCIB...yup....

will it require increase in dividend....yup....

current yield is 3.429%.....

Dividend is still WAY below pre-covid....

buy more if you can (or want)....this is a game...play the game...

Overweight this stock folks; the stars are aligned for a good upside. Owns 30k and I will bring them up to 40k in due course. Sold all my TVE's and CPG's and put them in Dividend stock WCP. This stock has good ratings from many sources and the fundamentals are sound. GL

As a long term holder of Wcp the analysts have never come close to there targets. My first purchase was at $8 a number of years ago because A they paid a nice dividend and B analysts had a $13 price target. The stock didn’t even stay in the $8 range for very long.. There advice is free and that’s exactly what it’s worth...

Yeah.  It is really just another opinion.   Analysts usually apply some accouting to justify their target price.   They can't account for poor sentiment unfortunately.   Let's hope the Q2 reports are worth the wait.  You aren't alone!

Just can't beleive these oil and gas stocks selling off so hard when the price of oil is still $70. It's no wonder investors have fled . I'm down 20% on most of my Cpg shares in under 2.5 weeks on no news just speculation. Short selling has killed this sector.
