We did the acquisitions at what 60 dollar oil? I am remembering but it was around there , and it also had just gotten to that price , and the metrics paid didn't have the optimism premium attached , folks ........these were companys ! Then the one that I didn't love but it made sense , the bolt ons last October there abouts ? Oil was closer to averaging $70 ?
Pierre is right !! Buy back the NCIB slowly especially at these prices , over summer , don't announce a increase to the dividend until the NCIB is complete. Then once it's complete , raise the divvy.
I would do all I could to keep the price low , and the only thing you can do as CEO is NOT excite the market , and buy back shares.
If your long this makes you more money if you truly consider your self a owner of the company !
Whitecap is so unbelievably undervalued , it makes no sense , and if your long truly long this is actually awesome!!
buy back those shares !! Let the market sleep .
