This is what is proposed by team Klein for Canopy and they can now, pull this off anytime they want.

I don't want to beleive that this will happen but it is on the agenda.

During a consolidation, your shares are reduced and then they revert back to the pre-consolidation price and eventually tank or are reduced to pennies until nobody wants them anymore.

Then the vultures come!  Lenders first and then preferred shareholders to pick up the best parts of what once was your company for the benefit of investors that took control right under your noses while most weren't even aware.

Geo, You seem to be either mis-understanding my post or not reading over the Press Releases by Canopy Growth and Tilray Brands. Tilray Brands is proposing to increase their ALLOWABLE total sharecount. The CEO noted that they wish to have the OPTION of issuing more shares in the event they come across a new deal / acquistion.  Increasing ALLOWABLE sharecounts does NOT mean they are issuing

Both Tilray and WEED will, imho, need to increase their sharefloat for whatever event is considered the retort of the starter pistol for going full bore in the US for cannabinoids. There are a lot of US investors that aren't invested, so when they feel ok to do so, those shares will very likely be in short supply. If Canopy goes through with the consolidation it should reduce the float and

Isn't a subsidiary of STZ the principal lender to CGC? CUSA will be a separate entity, all looks rather convenient.

Until they provide clarity regarding the split, retail investors will either short this stock or remain on the sideline. This is a penny stock with one decent financial report, with a potential split looming. With this company's history under the current CEO, it will take time to instill trust within the investing community.   IMHO
