The research bill is

The research bill ismomentous and good news for the US greenrush in general.

This will allow scientist and investigators to have access legally, to weed on US soil for the purposes of proving it up for medicinal claims and ultimately new, real drugs made from cannabinoids and terpenes.

There is a ton of self experimentation that is proving itself for patients and consumers who want more than to get high.  CBD non-psychoactive cannabinoids are gaining ground for pharma use and being effective for some people for pain, sleep, anxiety, relaxation, seizures, diet stimulants and diet suppressants.  Probably other uses too but those are some of the main ones.

This kind of experimentation has been almost totally suppressed on US soil because of the old laws and left to other more progressive countries that see a good thing and are willing to act on it.

This is going to attract US pharma companies who are probably already hurting a little from consumers using pot and cannabinoids to treat for some of their products uses.

We really need the Democrats or Republicans to build a legal pathway incorporating the best of all the pot bills that have positive votes from the house and senate and just need to cut the childish, political bullshyt out and do the work to launch the US greenrush and by that I mean actually creating promotional legislation to welcome a whole new legal industry.

What happened in Canada was phenomenal and what will happen in the US will be 10x that imho.

In regards to WEED vs CGC they are stock symbols representing the same assets just from different exchanges.

I believe that Constellation, major player in Canopy is cutting their losses in Canada.  They have made their intentions known in regards to revisiting and reducing, once again, the deal that was inked with Acreage floating shares that promised $6 ish worth of renumeration to buy the ACRG floating shares, which they could have just sat on or walked from.  The ACRG fixed shares are about the same as the revisited deal that they could walk from or rto 3 ACRG fixed shares for 1 Canopy share.

They have plan b in place with their deals with other US companies in the event that they decide to not go through with the acquisition/takeover of the ACRG a and b shares.  Those other companies could be considered another MSO imho that would suffice for planting a flag on US soil.

Constellation is a hardcore moneymaking business run by capable sharks so why wouldn't they try to capitalize on trying to get the ACRG floating shares for a better deal?  I don't think they can help themselves.  Their crystal ball got them first mover advantage when they plunked down for Canopy because they saw the same thing that I am seeing that cannabinoid beverages are going to be marketshare winning and profitable.  They not only want to be a part of it, they want to be number one and they will probably keep injecting money into it until it is sorted out in to well financed and run companies with a lot of failures along the way, a lot of those failures are by government laziness to do what the voters want.
