Bad decisions catching up

Bad decisions catching up to WFP. Yes all their mills are now on the east side of the island but this means their log transport costs have increased exponentially. If you look at their tenure maps on the island a large chunk of their timber is now increasingly uneconomical to move to the east coast. Closing the englewood railroad meant now the previous hauling over the hump from the west side by off highway trucks to the railroad to haul to beaver cove is super costly and inefficient.  Same in Alberni TFL44, trucking from Sarita to Nanaimo/ladysmith 1 load a day.  This is what happens when people that have no clue about the forest industry take control.

the logs are coming from the area..they are not all coming from west coast..they have booms of it brought in and barged from up north.
