Current PEA will soon be worthless

What happens in a $2,500+ gold environment?  The current PEA only goes as high as $2,200.  What IS the NPV of Casino at these levels?!  This is akin to giving a blind person an outdated, 100 year old map and asking him to guide you to your destination.

The more I think about it, I don't want us to sell until it is painfully obvious that the current PEA is outdated and that our NPV is multiples higher than the laughable "headline NPV".  Focusing on a hypothetical sale of Casino today using the "headline NPV" is what gives rise to the lowered expectations of some who would be happy with scraps (i.e. single digits) per share.

Well then! Let's all just plug in $5000 gold and $50 copper since we're playing pretend!

MH, Since this is Stockhouse, it would be irrespnsible not to make outrageous projections unconstrained by reality. If I've done my math correctly, $5000 gold and $50 copper works out to  about an $86B NPV (assuming no other changes).  Not sure if it would help WRN shareholders though.  If gold is at $5000 and copper is $50, the world is probably ending, and I doubt that ...more

FFS, the current PEA is not outdated. They used base case (long-term estimates) and spot prices at the time the PEA was produced.  Just because some jerk on the internet somewhere says that gold is going to $10,000 per ounce doesn't place any obligation on a copmany trying to provide a useful estimate of NPV to use that value. If you make a cartesian plot of the values provided by ...more

To you every coin has two heads.  Tell me fortune teller...what will the cap ex be in 5 years?  It will be a billion $ more than the PEA.  Of course you ignore this...ruins your dream doesn't it?  I'll bet you all my shares that the cap ex is already "out dated" by a mile
