Specs are getting itchy.  Volume isn't high enough, so it isn't a major (NEM, etc) pulling the trigger. Hate to say this (don't like specs picking my pocket) but we might be forming a floor near $2. Hope those who wanted cheap share were able to get some prior to the calendar turning.  We are now at the mercy of those who yo-yo the markets.

Sooner, I don't advocate shorting, however, the last time we ran through $2 with authority in May we saw a 20% decrease in share price 3 weeks later.  After price spikes it is not unusual to see profit taking or shorting activity occur. Gotta fill the gap if we want to move higher.  It's a safe bet that we retrench close to $2 over the next week or so.  I reluctantly upped

Bill Morton was the CEO of Cariboo Rose which owned the Canada Creek Property. Bill and Dale had  a good friendship, and believe still do, that went just beyond business. That had a handshake agreement on Canada Creek long before the transaction.

If Rio did make a $6.00 offer, shareholders would vote?  And likely receive an equivalent percent of RIO shares at the deals closing date?  Or they could sell into the market at their $6.00 offer if the shares rise that much or higher? Perhaps missing a better, secondary offer...  i know it depends on the structure of any deal. But how would it work, for those of us who have not

RIO or any other suitor can make an offer for the company, which will likely be an arrangement swapping out shares of WRN for the shares of the acquiring company. Could a suitor pay cash?  Sure, but why?!  First of all, it drains the resources of the acquiring company and it causes a tax HEADACHE for the shareholders.  Sometimes, the arrangment will give the shareholders the option

Oh yes - of course WRN shareholders will vote on the Sooners $6 usd offer if that's what it ends up being....but according to some on this board, our BoD won't even bring that forward to a vote since some here think they will outright reject that. I personally don't agree with that and believe they wouldn't be fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities to shareholders to let us
