BHP
With this potential 44bn litigation liability in the pipeline seriously doubt BHP will be in the market until there is some clarity on the legal position.
Effectively NEM and probably BHP are out. Barrick already out of the running as they are miserly.
Any thoughts on Agnicon Eagle or Freeport McMRan?

Yes, Rio are in but we need competitive tension.

Maybe you missed the news, NEM are in talks to merge with Newcrest and as JC pointed out Coffee barely makes a footnote in its annual statements. My view, atleast while merger talks are in flight - they are out and if potential merger goes ahead NEMNEW Co operations integration will take a number of years - they are certainly out.

Stupid question here ---- are there ANY Asian miners that would be interested in Casino. Just curious...I'd imagine Canada gov't would block any Chinese miner from bidding (even if there was one interested and capable). Just curious - again i plead ignorance on the potential listing of options from bidding on our project.
