A 30% premium represents the most expensive market capitalization for this company, whether negotiated on a CAD or a USD basis. Shares out, Market Cap (US) and Market Cap CAD are in Millions. Outstanding shares comes from respective quarter's 10Q (also in millions) Fx rate comes from ofx.com. HOD = high of day, except for today, of course.

It doesn't get simpler than this. Barring some last minute bombshell, we have almost no leverage, and it's time to start coming down from the hopium high. Dates are the 4 price per share spikes of the last 13 years.

That's why I'm hoping our share price can drift up to $3 by Aug-Sept and I'm hoping for 40-50% premium by Nov on buyout. Not $6 ...but I'm not like others that want to let this drag on for years...because we're burning $20M a year it sounded like. That's 6% of share price....or about $0.10 per share per year! I've got 415k shares...so my contribution is $40,000 a year ...more

It's been discussed here numerous times.  The market cap is where it is because the market does not think this is happening soon.  Once the market thinks it will be happening soon, the market cap will increase significantly resulting in share price that when added to a premium lines up perfectly with a discount to NPV.  The market is smart enough to know what this will  ...more

If we're truly needing a new majority owner before entering permitting in Q1 2024 - notice how he just casually slipped that in there? Good thing we have that website - the next investor, assuming there's a third, can't get 2-3 field seasons to collect & analyze his own data before making a final decision. Furthermore, Rio will take as much time as we'll give. If they're ...more

Sorry MetalMinded I don't see the markets in the way you do ! Most every buyout I have had in the last 40 yrs, most buyout's jump that 40% , 50% , 80% just after the buyout is announced ! You say, ""The market is smart enough to know what this will go for and will move the share price up when it's close to within a "premium" of an anticipated buyout ...more

So you do recognize the gap.  Most buyouts go for a premium (range) over the share price AND most buyouts go for discount (range) to NPV.  Right now we have a major gap between what would be a "normal range" premium to SP and a "normal range" discount to NPV.  That's me as one will give to close that gap.  My money is on the SP moving to close that gap ...more
