Yangarra Resources Ltd. (

) to “speculative buy” from “hold” with a $1.25 target, up from 60 cents. Average: 89 cents.

 

Mr. Petrucci: “With its low cost structure, YGR managed to maintain relatively healthy margins through most of 2020. With a rebound in pricing, we believe YGR will have the funds available to maintain/grow its production base.”

Hopefully, the natural gas price will help. YGR has corrected lately primarily due to the drop in natural gas price.

Stockfy, while NG is always important to YGR, the price of CAD oil is going to be extra critical to YGR as YGR should have at least 5 wells to tie in Q1. The five wells are from Dec 2 until now. As these wells produce so much oil in 4 first months...a good cad light oil price helps the payback periods so much. Dec production numbers look pretty good....considering the year.  I can't tell ...more

Sure Kherson. I honestly didn't look or check any stock prices from March 9th until this last weekend. I think i looked at Cardinal first last saturday and then sunday night I got the courage to check YGR share. On march 6th,,,YGR was like 70 some cents. On march 9th, Ygr opened at 47 cents as over that weekend oil crashed due to covid/saudias. With airlines not flying and seeing the demand ...more

And the other really nice postive since March 2020 is just the market conditions in the Cardium. A viable public company actually exists now to take out Cardium names. I never thought Whitecap had any potential as a target company to be interested due to the fact WCP needs capital for the so many other irons they have in the fire, and WCP wouldnt want to pay what YGR management would want.
