Over reaction. THO should be closer to $9

than where we are trading currently. IMHO the price is a gift and the market always over reacts. Great Buying opp. GLTA

I don't agree... the escobal mine is like a lifeline for THO. We don't know how long the court will suspend this mine. I heard about this in the news and thought that I was going to buy some since it seems to be cheap. But at the end of the day, the loss of revenue from escobal mine will have material impact to the company's bottom line. Not to mention there is a lawsuit going on...

Ok I hear you BUT the market is pricing in for worst case of 12-18 months being shut down. If they announce they can resume while in the courts then boom back up. If they announce the decision has been overturned in the next 2-4 months then back up we go. I just see this worst case (as per analysts) as an over reaction and a good time to add THO shares. Time will tell, GLTA

I do hope this will settle and turn around. I had stocks that gained more than 300% and some others lost 90% of value. The losses are just more painful even if i ended up more with my gains.

The company already had to file an Amparo Action, Ccntra JUDICIAL RESOLUTION, is a matter of 1 week, this will allow Taho to continue working, with the guarantees that must give the Government of Guatemala, who at the moment should be trying to solve this serious problem   https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=es&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=es&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F ...more

Tough day for THO. This is what I was afraid of. Never underestimate fear and greed in the market. The problem is Escobal is their biggest revenue and also the most cost-effective mine that Tahoe owns. Based on Q1 Statement, 60% of net profit came from that mine alone. Being in Guatamela exacerbates this issue as we don't know the integrity of the court system. I'm not spreading fear, but ...more

What is more at risk is that the company becomes more of a takeover target if the price keeps declining.  $5 handle is very realistic.  One cannot ignore that the company still owns the 4th largest silver mine in the world.   The government has not taken the mine away from them.  The mine will eventually reopen and the stock price will, over time, recover from this event.

I agree that the government has not taken the mine away.  I doubt that they ever will.  They would get sued. Better for them to implement a 60% corp tax, have no risk and acquire most of the value. Nobody will attempt to buy TKO at current share prices.  It is far far too expensive The outcome is a black box mat
