Tilray Brands Inc > Everything was exactly as expected

Everything was exactly as expected

There was no surprise at all except a certain number I was hoping was nearing or above 15 percent. But I'm fine with it. I explained and posted a million times in the past THOUSANDS not hundreds of LP's in their death throws were dumping cheap cannabis on the market this past year. Many of whom no longer exist. This trend will not continue as a few players will be left by years end and Canadian regulations would have changed my most people's expectations. The gov will not maintain these rules that have hurt the industry and taxes.

Cannabis margins were temporarily depressed. They will increase in time but Tilray Brands is doing what right. Growing its sales numbers which I. Future quarters will be j creased margins as quality cannabis will not be this cheap. Many companies already stopped growing. The Wild West is settling down. Tilray Brands being diversified allowed us to weather the storm better you guys all know this ...more

Net sales reported as historical high for the company.  Yes, margins dropped a little but also increased in areas.  Alchol sales doubled (117% actually).   Not too sure how much folks know about sales and margin numbers however if you sell high volume you can actually get more money in vs selling less volume for higher margin.  Making a bit less per sale but selling a ...more

Pretty sure -0.05 to -0.07 eps is a net negative, maybe I'm not looking at this right, but for me it makes sense to call it a negative.

This Q. post is exactly the example post which influenced me in keeping my investment in Hexo. Had I taken Keeler's posts seriously, I wouldn't have lost $35K. Facts are facts and figures don't lie. Tilray reported US $46.2M Q2 loss and that's a fact. Does it matter if you have humongous sales and then report humongous losses ?

If would have listened to Keeler? Haha If you would have taken your DD seriously, you would have not lost 35k. Who bases their buy or sell on a forum? Just say'in  You are comparing apples to oranges, with Hexo and Tilray.

Very good comment Ventura. You can not compare any other company with TLRY Tilray Brands. Were one of a kind pulling of a strategy should it work will be the first of its kind. As for circleK, I did my best with that your turn Ventura to muzzle it next. If you need pointers I can help it's relatively easy for something that feels it's better and smarter then the rest of us. I dealt with ...more

....or, how bout this: First, wait until if/when the company is approaching profitability or new markets in which TLRY can compete are slated to open up before investing. Second, if a company is a serial acquirer, it usually ends up at a lower share price (at least over the short term) as the market usually punishes a company buying up others as the investment community typically concludes that ...more

Yes he certainly did. But it will always come back to let us know it bought TLRY at the right time. It sold TLRY at the right time. Radio silence last week sitting above 2.30 for the most part. Just today it's here to say look I sold when it was 2.05 mind you when it made the comment. Someone could still have sold at todays bottom and still have done far better disregarding the 2.50 run up and ...more

Okay now for all of you reading the 2nd paragraph of the quoted. I would encourage you to understand that a lot of times selling less volume with higher margins, makes a company way more profitable than being a high volume with smaller margin company. If margins were equal that would be a different story. But if you make twice as much profit when selling half as much product, then who wouldn't ...more

Net sales (not gross) was a historical high. That might be a clue that the company is doing something right. Maybe do your research on that to see if that makes sense. Margins were a little lower despite a record NET Sales report... Hmmm... Maybe check that out too  Alcohol sales increased 117 percent in only 3 months. Is that good ? Well I'm not here to provide answers but maybe (just ...more
