Some Perspective...
I took in some NFL Wildcard action on television this past weekend and as I watched I could not help but think of Trelawney and their Cote Lake Discovery.
What does football and the Cote Lake Discovery have in common?
For for one thing they are both top notch, but I could not help thinking about the most impressive hits that they have had at Cote Lake and how they compare to the length of the playing surface.
In the NFL the length of the football field is 100 metres and seeing it live on television along with the action and the thousands of fans that surround it really put things into perspective for me in terms of just how massive those hits at Cote Lake really are!
A Cross Section Diagram is a much needed tool but it does not give this discovery true justice!
E10-33....520.28 metres @ 1.44 g/t....are you kidding me....that is five football fields!
E10-40....334.40 metres @ 1.02 g/t....three football fields!
E10-26....292.04 metres @ .88 g/t.....three football fields!
E10-27....274.60 metres @ 2.99 g/t....three football fields!
At this point in time we know for a fact that running East to West the strike length is 700 metres...that is seven football fields!
This thing is huge!...and they have just got started!

DIgger with all due respect those intersections are not true widths. The drills appear to have cut obliquely across the zone at about a 45 degrees angle. You'll have to use high school trig to figure out the true width.
