The cost of developing an open pit mine
would come in in the billions of dollars at Cote Lake . First off, if the possibility even exists to prove up a viably economical resource after hundreds of millions of dollars yet to be raised and spent on extensive drilling can even be undertaken and achieved., numerous required studies would have to be done and the native and environmental issues overcome .
Time, expense , and a sure monumental environmental hurdle and deal breaker over the Mollie river with adjoining swamp and wetlands stands in the way .
With a cost prohibitive kilometer plus deep open pit into granites and some percieved open mine development to be structured over an extensive land mass of many kilometers, it becomes so much wishful thinking over pure logic especially with this grid layout and known disseminated numbers and depths, that any major would take this on this decade if ever at all.
