Time will tell. I have long believed it to be an obvious possibility that Ucore--under seal of a non-disclosure agreement--has likely received a sample from the Mountain Pass mine to test at Kingston.
Think about it: Mountain Pass is the most consequential and strategic rare earth deposit in the US, it is currently sending all of its concentrates to China for processing, and it would only make sense to see how Ucore's Rapidsx stacks up to whatever Shenghe Resources can do.
We know that the CEOs of Ucore and MP both attended the Adamas Intelligence Conference recently (https://www.adamasevent.com). And they both Attended the International Rare Earths Conference in Washington D.C. last month. Do you expect me to believe that these companies aren't aware of the huge commercial--and strategic-- possibilities of MP's mine dovetailing with Ucore's technology. At any rate, the DOD, which is funding them both (although disproportionately) must certainly be aware of this possibility.
So yes, to answer your question, it has "something to do with Ucore".

P.S. By the way, does anyone know who won the presidential election recently? I believe Pip and I both made predictions about that, but I still haven't found the time to confirm who was correct.
;)
P.S. Half @ 100, then half @ 399.
