AAG is worth it for the silver alone. Manganese is a BONUS..

AAG is worth it for the silver alone. Manganese is a BONUS.....not forgetting the large quantity of copper and zinc found as byproducts in Berenguela.

A perfect project that comes at just the right time to maintain the very strong demand for electrification.

Manganese mines are very rare, and demand is increasing for the production of lithium batteries with different chemistries:
Li-NMC: lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt
LMO: lithium-manganese-oxide
LMFP: lithium-manganese-iron-phosphate
Li-MnO2: lithium-manganese dioxide
LMR: lithium-manganese-rich (60-70% manganese)

Advantages of Manganese in Batteries

Thermal Stability: Reduces the risk of overheating.

Cost Reduction:
Less expensive than cobalt.

Performance: Improves energy density and lifespan.

Manganese is therefore an increasingly crucial component for more durable batteries that are less dependent on critical metals.
