3D concrete printing do, has high potential in defense, infrastructure, and space construction, and it’s already being explored or deployed in all three. AnorTech’s sustainable, anorthosite-based formulations could give us a real competitive edge if they move quickly and secure partnerships and here are usues for it:

 

Use Cases:

 

  • Rapid-deploy bunkers, barracks, or watchtowers in remote areas
  • Reinforced field fortifications without needing traditional supply chains
  • Blast-resistant structures (especially with refractory or high-strength concrete)

 

  • The U.S. Marine Corps and Army Corps of Engineers have already used 3D concrete printers for field construction

SPACE CONSTRUCTION

 

Use Cases:

Habitat and infrastructure on the Moon or Mars

Radiation shielding structures using in-situ regolith and binders

Landing pads, storage, and tunnels
