I believe the rainy season in Fiji last until May?  Not sure but that could  delay things some.  From the twitter it appears they are at least getting things ready.

Rainy season mainly effects Liwa which has a couple of rivers to cross which become uncrossible for a few months usually starting around Jan. Korokaiyiu and Nakoro do not have rivers to cross and can be worked all year except for direct hits with cyclones. Nakoro is on a different latitude than Liwa and on the other side of the mountains which is much drier, little jungle with grassy areas. Here ...more

When I think about it, they rushed into Nakoro around Dec 2021 before the season ended. Then Dusty the new senior experienced geo was announced, now Gandel Metals, Ian G. announced. Its becoming more obvious that there is much more going on behind the scenes than any of us know. IMO, that's a good thing as they are keeping things close to their chests and just getting things done. Example the ...more

Agree, If this inking with Ian Gandel took around a year plus then IMO in the last few months everything AWE's Geo's were doing was somehow connected with Ian, like rushing off to Nakoro and taking samples, and who know what other surprises that may come out once the exchange accepts the financing and terms.
