Great endorsement for Bedrocan

I pulled this paragraph from the Sunlife story... "He met with an oversight committee at the school that included a doctor, representatives from the student unions and from the university’s health services department to argue for coverage. He came armed with information from his latest licensed producer, a company called Bedrocan, as well as a sleep study suggesting medical marijuana was an effective treatment for his condition. He also brought a list of the 48 pharmaceuticals he had already tried, as well as the note from his doctor. This say's a lot about what Bedrocan claims as a stable and consistent strain of MJ and how important it is to the user. I agree Bedrocan should've reported this as a news release or at least shown some bragging rights...

The fact that Bedrocan did not issue a news release is one of the reasons I am in BIG with this company. I love how management focuses on doing the job right and let's the product do the talking. Although I have a small position in TWD, this is the only LP I trust partly because of the lack of hype. This is totally an investment for me not a trade. Bedrocan is doing things the way all ...more

Excellent post. I am glad you view this as a company worth investing in as well. re: Whether the student would have rec'd a prescription if BED was not his LP? Yes, I am sure he would have if his LP was willing to go to bat for him but I think BED is above the rest when it cones to respectability. re: Being the world's only pharmaceutical standardized medical marijuana that's from ...more

I am curious, exactly what is the difference between Bedrocan's weed and the rest of the LP's? What makes BED weed medical and the rest not? Can anyone honestly answer what is the difference? Also, Bedrocan are not the only ones Advertising "Medical Grade". What does "Medical Grade" mean? MedReleaf has clear as day on their website "The Medical Grade ...more

Well for starters they are the only company that can guarantee the THC and CBP levels of all their products is the exact same every time.

the key is Quality Assurance Bedrocan guarantees 100% quality ever crop..and batch....NOT every LP can do that I am an avid grower and breeder..one of the most difficult things to do in marijuana growing is replicate exactly what you have done,,,over and over... things change...and sometimes the plant has a mind of its own and does what it wants but it seems Bedrocan has a standardize ...more

I would hope all LP's have "quality assurance" and I would tend to believe the lab testing that every LP must do as per Health Canada would assure quality, would it not or am I confusing what you are trying to say? I am still confused as to why Medreleaf would advertise on their website "The Medical Grade Standard", if it isn't really medical grade as you have ...more

yes all LP's have quality assurance NOT ALL HAVE A STANDARDIZED PRODUCT i know for a fact...one of my fav strains that Med Releaf grows is called Erez(from Tikun Olam) but Erez is not the same THC CBD percentage EVERY TIME   Bedrocan strains are hence the word Standardize

What I was saying is I have read article after article that Bedrocan is the ONLY producer of "Medical MJ" in the entire world, yet MedReleaf has on their website clear as day "THE MEDICAL GRADE STANDARD".   https://medreleaf.com/ My question is perfectly valid,  maybe tomorrow there will be an answer that makes sense.

Then you must be new to the MMPR  because Medical grade is not a new thing... and there are more than BED and MEd Releaf that state they are medical grade MJ You just want to argue for the sack of argueing which is fine by me

My understanding about the Bedrocan product is that it has the same potency/amount of THC and other chemical properties from crop to crop. They are pollenated and grown in clean rooms, so they know exactly that the correct strain of plant pollenates the same correct strain they are growing. this gives a consistency of strength/potency of the product. It also gives doctors the ability to control ...more

That makes sense to me and was my understanding too, however Medrelief's website which I hadn't noticed till today has my curiousity itched. Think I will do what I should have done in the first place instead of posting my question here, I will call MedReief in the morning to ask their definition of it. Sorry.

Hey I just found this in an old nr from Jan 2014 last year: "One of the initiatives we want to take on is how to get insurance coverage in Canada similar to Holland, to enable cost coverage for patients as much as possible. Bedrocan product is pharmaceutical grade and standardized from batch to batch. We’re hoping that type of quality will help in the argument to the ...more
