Delayed
Thank you for your interest in the Morrison Copper/Gold project. The 45 day timeline for Ministers to make a decision of whether or not to issue an Environmental Assessment Certificate ended January 31, 2022. The Morrison Mine decision timeline will be retroactively extended to allow for a thorough consideration. This is permitted under section 24(4) of the Environmental Assessment Act (2002).

CopperMbr: Very astute observation and I concurr. A email to EAO would likely not get that information or a response even. Pbm would be notified and that likely never seems to have happened or we would have heard something by now. Have to sit tight and see what happens.

CopperMbr and dano123, well if this is missinformation then why no permit, we all know it's delayed because no permit, BUT also nothing from EAO or BKM to confirm this is all i'm saying. Unless you guys/gals know something i don't.

What is meant by "retroactively extended"... are they going to restart the 45 day clock over again?

Hi BKMforthewin, Retroactively extended means that after the 45 day review period expired (January 31), the Minister decided that more time was needed to review the file, and extended the review period. The extra time needed for this review has not yet been disclosed.
