I sold non-Bone TFSA stocks to clear room to buy more Bone stock into our TFSA. So, simply speaking we sold about $100K of stock and replaced it with the same dollar value of Bone stock. The TFSA balance is neutral. How can you NOT undertsand this?
The other tax benefit is I could use our non-reistered Bone capital loss to offset some capital gain I triggered from other investment accounts. So now I've effectively reduced my potentiall capital gain tax liability in the future.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my lot in life, hope you are as well.
