Woewodski was always more of a liability then an asset anyways. As for people talking abotu the big selloff, I dunno.....assays do not take that long to do, and we don't know when the holes were drilled.....it could be as long as a month, however it may be a week.....

Personally, I didn't buy BVG for Woewodski.  I bought it for Homestake Ridge and the previous bonanza hole that graded 52m of 21g gold per tonne.  The stock probably had its run up as some were aware that news was forthcoming and assumed it would concern Homestake.  This was essentially "non news".  It hasn't changed anything with regards to Homestake ...more

I also agree.  I purchased my stake in BVG because of the Homestake Ridge deposit and the promise it has having already provided very rich grades over thick intersections (52m of 21g gold as we know).  Today what we learned from this zone is that they've completed 9 holes of a 40 hole, 8500 m program.  We have yet to receive results and when they start coming, there will be ...more

"I concur completely....and if some stockholders become disillusioned after this news I am sure that there are many of us who will gladly pick up their shares at a discounted SP. I hold numerous gold juniors including Osisko, Detour Gold, Timmins Gold, Kinbauri Gold and  Ontex, and I have yet to see as nice gold grades over metres as that found by BVG and Rubicon (although I think that ...more

"What are shareholders like you going to do if not one of these 40 holes is a bonanza grade? Keep buying until the 43-101 comes out or bail?"For me, pilgrim, that's part of the appeal of holding BVG.  You've got very strong past results such as holes 87 and 99 so know that there are high grade zones within the deposit and 8500m over 40 holes to further teast ...more

There is an actual deposit (currently around 1 mill. ozs.)the old Homestake Ridge Ni 43-101 (903,000 oz gold and 5.7 oz silver) is from march 2007 after the 2006 drilling program. there is no hole from 2007 and no hole from 2008 included!!! So I think we have now perhaps 2 MM oz gold or more without the brand new 2009 holes. 9 holes are completed, first assays in the lab, survey is completed ...more
