What's the deal??
Does Heckla get this company March 15th for $.10 USD plus a spinco consisting of a few of Atac's copper properties they valued at USD $.06? Hardly think that makes sense if Rackla and all the other assets are only going for only $.10. Spinco will probably be down to $.02 after the shareholders are left with Hecla, a company that has increased very little since inception in 1891. Why is management so interested in making a deal with Hecla? Really not much better than Victoria's offer because that spinco doesn't amount to too much. Are the shareholders going to vote on this proposal? Management only owns 2% of the stock. A 2% group that has watched the stock drop from $9.00 to $05 wuthout taking any action to improve the price until Victoria offered to double the value of the stock 100% overnight. I reentered ATAC in the past year after being gone for ten years. I will make a nice profit if the deal is made and moveon. I feel for the shareholder that has been with ATAC for a long time hoping for the big payoff. I hope another company jumps in with a better offer for the shareholders.

Silver You say it is not much better than Victoria's offer but it is 50% higher. Maybe your costs are too high and you are expecting too much! To me that is significant!

Yep Hoping for a better offer. Most shareholders are in at higher prices indeed. I for one, need 16 cants to break even.

rarihok You are getting about .18 based on the value of the spin out so you are in alot better shape than you were a month or so ago. Down 50% to actually being in the money!
