Candorado Proposes Share Consolidation

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire -07/12/12)- Candorado Operating Company Ltd. (CDO.V) announces that it has called an Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders for August 2, 2012 and is seeking approval of a 5 into 1 share consolidation and a change of name to Sunrise Resources Ltd. The consolidation was previously approved at the meeting held in 2011 but was never implemented. The Board of Directors is of the view that it is now essential for this consolidation to be implemented in order to raise needed working capital and it wishes to obtain fresh approval from the shareholders. The consolidation and name change will also be subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. 89,776,056 common shares are currently issued and outstanding. These would be consolidated into 17,955,211 after the proposed consolidation.

Further news will be issued as and when appropriate.

Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.

Well... I have never been on the winning side of a consolidation but I have heard the myth of the possibility.  Then again, there was the Unicorn rumour and the Stephen Harper 'Emotion' rumour..... anyway... i digress. Well, as I said in 2011, in my opinion this is the death of those investment  which have been done within last ten years into CDO. I can kick my a&& that I have listed to Rene Bernard to keep my shares at .40, while he sold  telling us that this is important to keep the price "up". Well, this is the price I have to pay for my confidence. But it is my fault, never listed ...more

by the way, thopse, who do not undersatnd what I am talking about: After the share consolidation we will have the same market cap. But than heavy dilution will start: A higher number of share will increase the market cap - not because the market did buy. No, but just because the number of shares has been increased. And those shares will be sold for pennies to insider, while those shareholder, who ...more

and, by the way, we don ot need a fxyvking new management which does a share consolidation......every idiot, whio become  CEO of a microcap can do this and declare, taht this is in the interwest of shareholder. The problem is, is it also in the interested of those shareholder who kept CDO alive by not selling those tons of old shares for years? I doubt this, and now we get punished for ...more

Final comment: If the price of a company is not made by stockmarket, but by share cosolidation with final options and private placements for pennies per shares, this company did not deliver a product or findung of minerals etc, the management just delivered their interest in using this story for another screw. The name change unlines this..........they want that CDO disappears to get back ...more

".........If there is no compelling story and steady stream of news following the consolidation, we will be in the toilet again before you know it."   How true !!!!!
