Just wondering if there is anyone from Timmins on this board? Wanted to get a locals perspective on what everyone is saying.

Never hurts to ask Apapas, I have friends in Yellowknife that work in shipping and they see a increase in supplies heading to a particular junior gold I'm in up there, Rover metals, a nice side bet for those who like a little diversity.  Man I'm ready to bail on Tlo and go all in here but somethings telling me to hold lol it's all good and glta here, brilliant choice of

I'm from Timmins Apapas.  Been here all my life.  Timmins is a mining town and very mining oriented and miining friendly.  This will be the largest open pit in the area.  I travel highway 655 every week where this highway will have to be relocated since it runs right above Crawford.  Running parallel to the highway is the main Hydro Power Line.  Both will have to

Awesome! Thanks for that info Geddy. Details like the ones you provided are very important. The activity, how they're progressing, infrastructure proximity and so on... I'd like to try and visit Timmins this summer depending on where we are with the restrictions and take a look for myself. I'll make a weekend of it. It would make for a nice drive up. I'm from Toronto only 7-8 hours

I lived and worked in Timmins for 2 years back in 1997. But Geddy is right. My first job was logging drill core at the Pamour Mine. At the time the open pit was right up against hwy 101 and a new orebody was found right underneath it and Three Nations Lake.  The plan at the time was to move Hwy 101 to the south of the lake. apapas , yes Timmins guy here ...let me put it this way...enjoy the ride as it's just the begining..I havn't posted in awhile but Iknow the area and Glencores infrastructure well as I worked in the Smelter for 27 years...be patient and watch what will develop right before your eyes...double didits comming our way by this time next year...glta

Thanks for your input freebird. I'm always curious what people are seeing and saying... I actually think we see double digits by this fall. If any of those other properties hits it big then it'll be sooner.
