FPX vs CNC

Been a long time holder of CNC since $1.70 US but i really do like the fundamentals of FPX as well , is anyone more sold on CNC than FPX for any specific reasons ?

Full disclosure = I hold a million-ish shares of FPX with an average cost of ~15c. Zero CNC. I tried having this discussion here and was smacked down on three fronts: (1) the grade is too low (ignoring the recovery differential), (2) the project is too remote & the capex is too high (ignoring the higher and more conservative project NPV), and (3) the jurisdiction isn't as favourable ...more

It's not difficult to assume your agenda here of promoting the stock you are heavily invested in and possibly down significantly as its down more than 25% to a recent high. So your flippant statements in an attempt to bash CNC hold little weight. Your assumptions of my agenda are completely wrong ! I am not here to promote any stocks ! I am here to have a discussion. I'm not going to argue nor bash you verbally because that's not my intent. I hold zero shares of FPX and own a large amount of shares in CNC which I am very bullish on. I've done a lot of research into CNC and feel confident in it long term. I'm really just ...more

I believe the Chieff was referring to seethinghedgie who has been a long term CNC slagger holding too many shares in FPX that has a low chance of ever being built .

Correct endzone, I was responding to the SeethingHedgie last post

I agree CNC is a great long term hold Company. All the news releases have been positive and that does not include the positives about Mr. Selby. I am not going to go through all the reasons to own CNC, but maybe right now that is the problem with the stock price since before and after the PEA, CNC puts out good news and everyone goes, "yeah I figured this is what they would find" or ...more

Agreed MOshowme. Market needs some new meat from any of the other 6 properties and/or some sort of company changing event related to the needed financing. So many balls in the air when you're trying to create a part of what will be the historical key supply chain for Canadian nickel for EV's and a possible steel mill partner. Big impact stuff, that may explain why we're supported very ...more
