Good post Idlefree. He was more cautious this time not to guarantee any strategic even though he said they're still in discussions with multiple partners. OEM's, majors and private equity firms. Was also surprised to hear he'd be willing to break up the company and just sell off Crawford if someone didn't come up with the cash for the whole lot.

apapas, yw..and i'm personaly happy he would spin that out as we as shareholders could ride the wave for several oportunities...keep in mind Crawford has billion dollar plus price tag...glta

A billion dollar price tag?   So why was this sold to CNC for dirt cheap bargain basement properties to a company once worth 50 million?

How would splitting the company benefit the share price?  Selling crawford with a billion dollar price tag will give us money in the bank, but this would bring us back to the "Exploration" company status and to the pennies zone.  Would splitting the company benefit to share holders?

A billion in the bank from Crawford would equal a $10 plus share price mininum with Reid looking as big or bigger. Throw in 18 more properties and if they hit on the high grade properties then we could triple from there in the coming nickel supercycle. Bear markets don't last forever and won't take much peak inflation data to squeeze the massive market shorts.

You have to be a complete whack job to put a negative spin job on that interview. He's off to Korea in a couple weeks for negotiations with a variety of huge players. Feasibility on track as well and cashed up til well into the new year. Current share price is reflective of market conditions not fundamentals. But only a total moron would think otherwise.

se either way, we do have share appreciation?  Anybody here doesn't think the same?

endzone , the new year will be very interesting ..long and strong ...you don't get paid for potential resources , Mark is doing a great job just showing that there strategy works ..drill the pink blobs lol as there are an abundance of them lol...glta

Idle, my billion number is low and just an example for simple calculation. Bet Crawford is worth more closer to $2 billion versus Mark's previous buyout comparisons. If Reid proves up to be 2 Crawfords then can't see a bidder not wanting both at much higher price to guarantee 50 plus years of production.
Comment by idlefreebird on Oct 02, 2022 6:10pm
endzone , i agree...the Feasibility will show a NPV  over 2.5 billion...let's see what happens from there..and that's not including carbon credits...glta

endzone , yes we have a big problem lol. too much nickel lol.Crawford itself is a stand alone operation at 120,000 tpd for 40 years and that's going down to i believe 600 meters od depth, Crawford is mineralized down to 900 plus meters...Reid will need to be a stand alone operation unless they get the Crawford mill up to 240,000 tpd lol..Timmins will be growiing big time ...as Fideli stated in ...more

minime, in CNC's scenario we sell Crawford as a single asset and the remainder of the portfolio would be spun off as another company and we would get shares of that company...CNC could negotiate keeping the name ...here's an example ...I was a shareholder of Atlantic gold ..Atlantic had made investements in Velocity Minerals ...when they sold Atlantic Gold for 800 million to St Barbara ...more

Ah Mark whispered that too you.  Tell me something why didn't he get a loan with them instead of a company that charges 1 percent interest a month?
