Federal decision coming

March 5, 2021 — On March 4, 2021, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change has extended the time limit for the issuance of the Environmental Assessment Decision Statement by 90 days.

March 4th + 90 days = 3rd of June for decision, no more extension can be given. Less than 2 weeks.

The Provincial could come anytime.

The timeline extension was announced on March 5, but where does it say that March 5 was the previous deadline? Reagardless, the deadline is definitly near, I expect to receive both permits in June, fingers crossed.

It has been so long I cannot remember when i bought my first share. And to think that some environmentalist could derail the whole operation, although a lithium miner is a confusing proposition. I wish bureaucrats would hurry up a little.

It would be rather ironic for an environmentalist to derail a lithium mine. I find it rather odd that LAC's thacker pass is coming under such pressure from environmentalists trying to save a weed. It's not that I don't believe in preseving species at risk but the only way we have any chance of saving our species and life as we know it on this planet is to lower our carbon emissions ...more
