Volkswagen closer to announcing battery plant in Canada: Innovation Minister

Innovation, Science and Industry Minister Franois-Philippe Champagne joins BNN Bloomberg following his meeting with Volkswagen to advance the MOUs signed earlier this year to expand Canada's electric vehicle ecosystem. He says Canada will get "a piece of the action" of the EV supply chain and that Canada is a "logical choice" for German automakers.
