Random thoughts

There’s a few people, myself included, who are questioning JSL, a geologist by trade, ability to lead this company. Just because your a good cook doesn’t mean you know how to run a restaurant.

We’ve been told that there’s a number of companies who want to be a part of CRE’s future. These are organizations who will have to invest hundreds of millions of dollars for this opportunity. Would you want to take this gamble if JS is driving the ship? Has his presence and hubris become a hinderance to any negotiations? Monkeyhere listed a litany of misfires, enough to put any CEO’s head on the chopping block.

And I’m surprised(shocked) at managements ability to deliver negative news about their own company.  Eric stating that some parties expressed concerns regarding the life of the mine. WTF? Of course I’m probably wrong about all of the above, but more days than not, I feel like I’m a passenger on the Titanic.

I much prefer JSL at the helm. A typical " slick willy " professional executive at the top , would have given up a lot of our value  to IQ or a private fund , in exchange for performance bonuses , with less going to us in the end. JSL, if you are reading this, please know that I , for one, am most certainly appreciative of your efforts.  A slick pro , would have over promised ...more

Hello Dareg. First, I agree completely with your sentiment. In addition, if I may add to your reasoning. Not every individual, throughout the corporate environment and life beyond will be good at everything. However in a leadership role it is important to recognize one's own shortcomings and compensate for them. That's leadership. I would argue that this is exactly what JSL did several ...more
