A few thoughts on this presentation! The slide on page 12 shows EBITDA and cash flow. Even using the our conservative price deck, in year 3 we hit almost 1 billion CDN in EBITDA and 600 million CDN in after tax cash flow. The construction schedule layed out by the VP of construction is a conservative schedule. This is exactly what a smart new manager should do, set expectations, under promise ...more

Any thought on slides 16/17. On slide 16, it said target production in 2024, but on slide 17, it could be 2026. Tiger

You should email the IR guy to let him know so they can fix it lol.   And this timeframe aligns with the assumptions I stated last week about why there will be delays and no news in Q1. You can see that now construction is scheduled for Sept 2023, not April 2023 as was noted by JSL a few times. The people who believe management will still be saying that this is just a conservative ...more

You may be right after all Monkeyhere but I really would wish that they would be more clear on this. To say one thing over and over and then publish another thing is unforgivable.

CRE, surprise

Hey Monkeyhere, I would just like to clarify your last two sentences of you latest post. You are actually saying that information is leaked out on a regular basis and the tell is the short selling. That implies that "friends of management" know what is going on before all the rest of the honest investors ? Then in your next phrase you say that our SP is being held down. (again ...more

There are leaks in every stock, not only CRE. What I'm saying here is that Management helps involuntarily or maybe not to keep it down. Show me one company that shoots itself with any interview or NR? Shifting timeframes are giving the market clues that nothing will happen soon. As I said, it's not the market fault that CRE is down, it's management fault for providing the tools that ...more

Investors "speculate" that is what they do. There was speculating before the permit that the SP would explode with that news and the SP went up........a bit. It did not explode so shorters are taking advantage of that. End of that story. No leaks.

"As soon as the partner and his multi million input are known, our SP will rise." And what will management say to drop anchor on the SP when that happens? We can pretty much be certain they'll do their best to downplay any positive momentum. management! Never cease to amaze!

Will someone talk to the PR department and find out if slide 17 is still in accordance with what JSL said about partner in first quarter. ?
Comment by kakoo88 on Jan 24, 2023 12:05am

I also messaged CRE headquarters about this also

Thank you Rinny. The only way out for this would be to say that the partner deal is still on for the first quarter, but complete financing might drag on a bit and this is why they have a "conservative " September timeline on slide 17.
Comment by tinker901 on Jan 23, 2023 8:16pm
It is surprising to see the detailed chart on page 17. They have that titled 'Conservative Timeline" Again it seems that any piece of information or news from CRE has to be downplayed with the flip side of the coin. The timeline from slide 16 has the build starting early in 2023 to be able to produce spodumene in 2024 (it takes 20 months to build ) Then on the next page (17) the ...more
