I believe the short positions are closing, it's end of the month and maybe the partnership news will come February? We will know about the shorts in few days once the report is out.

It is possible that this current uptick may bring about an increase in the short position. A short squeeze may have occurred over the last week or so helping drive our SP but new short positions may be taken up based upon today's new all time high. Maybe, it is also possible that the shorters may lay off until the SP goes much higher as it is predicted to do.

The difference between both is that CRE has millions of warrants and if we close above $2.5 we will have the last batch of them available to exercise. If it was me playing I'll short and my warrants will be the fall back. I'm making money by shorting and making money by selling the warrants way above the short sell price. PMET doesn't have that many warrants outstanding.  Really ...more

I think PMET has a ton of warrants outstanding. Something like 20million outstanding at like 0.45. Correct me if I'm wrong

Indeed, they have over 31M warrants issued and over $8M options that are not exercised.

I'm surprised...haven't been researching the company and what a poor judgment lol. Regardless, even more surprised that they have 1/3 of the float as warrants and options. That's significant dilution pending. True that they have incredible deposits but once Bay Street sharks pull the carpet on retail watch the blood. Maybe CRE will deliver before that happens so can use the profits to ...more

Pmet had about 1.5m short position when they were under $10, I doubt that they all managed to cover.

Some comments from the LAC CEO. - They talked to more than 50 investment partners before settling on GM because of the shared vision for EV supply chain. - Could add Hydroxide produciton at Thacker Pass in future but current plan is for carbonate only. - Deal is based on Index-based Lithium price with a discount built in. - GM has exclusive for phase 1 production and right of first ...more

I think the goal for GM is to lock up hydroxide production. They want to use the NCM cells on most of their vehicles. The deal they made with livent which they would hope is Nemaska supply (livent said on earnings call that it didn't specify supply location). The NA OEMs will be desperate to get qualified supply for the tax credits. Its too valuable. Thats part of the reason why tesla cut ...more
