It's a good reason to be excited especially the fact that they are starting with a client.

The entire purpose of EV is to reduce the use of fossil fuel. Really hope your wrong! What a stupid idea to charge EV with an ICE...

It is also important to remember that when an EV has to carry weight it's efficiency drops by as much as 1/2. Carrying recharge batteries around us about as much weight as these vans could handles. So that would take range down to maybe 100 miles round trip. ICE is the evil best choice here!

I was hoping for an EV/hybrid truck that would carry a significantly larger battery that would be used to charged other EV. Wouldn't that be a better offer? Raz

I don't know if I'd call it stupid, seeing as there's obviously a demand seeing as their only 2 units are instantly booked before there is even an app out. I'm guessing there is a long wait times for an EV van that meets their requirements. They can always re-install their equipment if/when they are able to get some.

A full EV experience is what Datametrex owe its customers. They are going beyond MVC as a RELEASE some time back stated they have a deal with some real estate gurus. Fingers crossed by June 2023 B.C in totality will be EVARED

You are right, they are poised tomake a bigger impact with the stationary units and the mobile carts in parking spaces I am watching to see this mvc considering they announced they have a partnership with the film team.

My take is they'll significantly charge more money than the fixed units since their main task is bailing out EV drivers facing range anxiety. They're a good idea whose impact should not be bellittled for now

You used the description of "partnership". The news release actually said "has started servicing EV consumers on film and production sites in B.C.". So not quite a partnership for EV charging - yet!
