What news means.

David Gower on news out of Spain "...Just confirmed it’s what we already were aware of.  Administrative Court will proceed and not necessarily wait for criminal trial."

trial is going to happen in criminal court, date to be set very soon.

This means an expedited resolution to Azn because Grupo attempted to stop the Admin Court review and failed. That's the importance and implications of the news on Thursday out of Spain. Admin court will proceed and act on the multiple disqualifing items in Grupos tender long before separate criminal court sentences those 16 criminals.

Best Doc Jones.

Azn is coming home.

Yes, this is correct as far as it goes - but incomplete and you draw the wrong conclusions with regard to the temporal sequence. Starting point is the correct statement of David Gower: "Just confirmed it's what we were already aware of.  Administrative Court will proceed and not necessarily wait for criminal trial."     I will take the time to explain to you the ...more

Viewed in isolation @bugeyes is right: I broke my promise. But you know very well that Doc and Co. has repeatedly made allusions to my contributions - at Stockhouse and at CEO.CA.    To interpret my silence resp. my not writing as weakness would be a mistake. If fundamental legal facts are twisted, I will write also in the future - is practically an emergency aid. Exactly in such a ...more

Excuse, where exactly were you addressed? , I don't believe in coincidences,   so for reasons unknown to me, whatever traction emerita is gaining, encouraging   correspondence for the courts etc. , these events have some direct bearing on your agenda ,environmental leanings??    I think the last paragraph is very telling   “At least the environmental group will ...more

The criminal trial could take a while but the administrative court has already announced, per the early October news release, they can rule on AZN and could give emotf AZN before any ruling of the criminal trial. That's what is important. We don't have to wait for a final ruling in the criminal case in order to get AZN. That is one of the reasons the stick has been doing well. Gower ...more

I think I'll rely on the timelines and advice from both Emerita's legal and the independent experts vs. Some guy on a board.  Meaning vet the data specifically vs generally,  I have.  I stand by the conclusions pivots by those sources incredibly close to the case. The rest is noise.  best Doc

Perfect Doc; we will see. The next step in the near future is the announcement of the date for the oral hearing by the administrative court. Then we will see whether xx.xx.2022 or xx.xx.2023. 2021 I think not, would be a big surprise.   Something you still have to distinguish: Criminal proceedings and administrative criminal proceedings. Currently, administrative criminal ...more
