ENCANTO POTASH ANNOUNCES BOARD AND MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Encanto Potash Corp.'s board of directors has accepted the resignation of Hamad Al-Wazzan as a director, interim chief executive officer and chairman, and the resignation of Didier Drogba as a director of the company. Mr. Al-Wazzan and Mr. Drogba have each resigned in order to devote more time to their respective other business interests. The company expresses its gratitude for their services to the company.
The initial vacancy on the board has been filled by the appointment of Victoria businessman Nick Watters. In addition, Robert Dzisiak, MSc (Ag), an agriculture professional, based in Winnipeg, Man., has joined the board and has been appointed chief executive officer of the company. Reginald Bellerose, retired chief of the Muskowekan First Nation, has been appointed as chairman of the board. The company anticipates that an additional director who has been identified will be appointed shortly, once appropriate internal approvals are obtained from the individual's primary employment organization. Mr. Hamad Al-Wazzan, outgoing chairman, stated that he was very pleased that retired Chief Bellerose had agreed to serve as chairman and that he looked forward to continuing to support the development of Encanto's joint venture potash project with the Muskowekwan First Nation.
