Guess what Cannwest

The example i gave was only the tip of the iceberg. This might come as a surprize to you but the natives are spread all across canada. Then ofcousre let us factor in the illegal poroducers that supplied the country for years and years and also do not pay tases and have little overhead. and are selling their product much cheaper. When the USA  does make pot legal they will bury our greenhouses which cannot even make a profit now   Let us go back to the natives for a minute. Wil they put Vega out of business. No ofcourse not.Tell me have you ever heard od the Seminoles?. They are the tribe from Florida that controls all tha gambling there and owns a large % of the state How about Mexico, South America. Africa. and europe itself. Tell me do you really think they cannot grow it there, it is just a weed DUH.  OH YA. One more point if i may. Most of these people to not need multi million dollar green houses

Wow, you really have an issue? You must have purchased EVE at .60 cents and ticked off! please refer to our Canadian friends as First Nations. Your terminology is horrible and speaks volumes about the kind of person you might be!

What are you talking about. I have many life long native friends that i grew up with and respect as they do me. How about you?
Comment by Goldy63 on Nov 08, 2019 6:45am
Elguyu7 . How dare you play the Native Bias card . To keep it in Perspective to the EVE board lets just say I,d rather pay more and have Guarrenteed Quality Control over my product and dont give a rats azz  who is selling for less . 1 example . Smokes . Bags or soft shell smokes are cheap on the reserves . Google some of the stuff that SOME put in the tobaco to stretch the yeild thus sell ...more

Well if your so sure Eves greenhouse will be unprofitable (last time I checked they turned a profit last q) then what are you doing here talking trash? Your argument is weak sauce, try a bit harder next time chump.

Looking at the NR for 3 and 6 months ending June 30/19, it reports a loss of $600K.
Comment by cannvest on Nov 08, 2019 3:08pm
I too can pick and choose according to my bias and the 3 month ending was a PROFIT of 363,520.

cannvest, I was responding to your post...you stated that to the best of your memory, Eve was profitable in the last Q..that was incorrect. It's not an argument, it a fact. If you make your investment decisions based on micro statements that's up to you. Simple math supports my post...net loss..FACT!!!
Comment by cannvest on Nov 08, 2019 4:50pm
wtf are you looking at?? Net for three months ending june 30 was 330k for that quarter period. Fact.

Why not post the number Spec ? If I recall ithe loss was around a million $ where as the q previous was around 8 milion so would look like EVE is turning the corner to profitability . Even some small green next Q will be a good thing as the market is looking for profitable companies . That Q is comming around soon . TGIF . JMO.
Comment by cannvest on Nov 08, 2019 5:01pm
Goldy, the 3 month net income after expenses was 330k positive for the last q. Its right there on the financial statement, but apparently spectra needs some spectacles...I was only referring to the last three months but some people love to argue against positive results around here.

Sorry Cann . I was going from memory all good . And yes that shorter only posts his point of view and always a negative conotation . Looking forward to next q,s and next year when we are growing full out with a million sqft . Wonder how many of these shorters and bashers will still be around after they get burned and have to cover after a few NR,S and they have to scramble and cover . Grin . Tgif  ...more

Goldy63, I don't anticipate a profit next Q based on MY assumption that with wholesale and retail price compaction experienced by other LP's...limited exposure by EVE currently in the Canadian market, increased capex and general expences to operate the new expansion, and lastly no sales to the target market of Germany. Hopefully H.C. gets off their "duffs" and allows EVE to get ...more

I hope if financing is required it comes in the form of debt rather than equity. i'd support that fully.  An equity raise in the current climate would be very costly. We (EVE and its investors) need sales!!! lets hope they come in Q4,

Why would we need financing? We still have lots in the bank and we're not losing tens of millions like other Mj companies.
Comment by Spectra7 on Nov 09, 2019 6:35pm
After reviewing EVE's last financials I'm still not 100% convinced that the working capital reported at $11m will be enough. It's very hard to calculate their burn rate during this last building segment. IMHO, just something to take into consideration while we move forward.

I'm expecting a small profit. Last quarter, we were not selling in Manitoba and stopped selling plants(sold out). Yes, small market but with Manitoba and plants back online, we should be looking at a small profit, even if our revenue decreases in NL. Also looking forward to the Quarter to be released because usually eve releases some news that nobody was expecting such as Manitoba and 3rd ...more
