I just got home and read the news. My first reaction, like most I'm sure, was not very positive, but let's face it, this company was going nowhere fast with no hope what so ever. To raise any funds the share price has to be at least 5 cents so if a rollback allows them to do a financing and get the company moving again then I believe it is better than the stagnation we have been ...more

Sigh... I hear ya.  Been through a few of these and NEVER came out ahead.  Got one now... currently @ .085... needs to reach $1.54 just to get my $$ back.  And yeah, not going to happen.  Good luck everyone.  Sigh once again.

With outstanding shares of 37 mil. and they need a R/S TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. tHIS company needs to be checked out by the OSC. 37mil. shares are nothing , give me a break. Guess who has the controlling votes, just my guess. Glad i sold over half my shares, even at a loss. THIS is very sad.37mil shares outstanding and this is the best they can do.

colt...I don't think any shareholder can be happy with what has transpired but from the time that this company became a shell absolutely nothing has happened nor was anything going to happen with the shares at this price and the markets the way they are.   "Guess who has the controlling votes". What do you mean by that? Please elaborate.   I agree that the total situation ...more

I mean who would want this R/S. The shareholders holding the majority of the stock, simple. R/S never benefit shareholders, do your research on R/S and you will see what i mean. We only have 37 mil. shares O/S. that NOTHING.  if THEY do a r/s it show how bad things really are and the management can't do the job and the SP would just drop at R/S TIME. check OUT HOW THESE THINGS END UP.

It's hard to argue with the points you have made as most consolidations lead to further erosion of share price. In the case of First Star I really don't think they had any alternative. The company was dead in the water with no hope at all, so this may be the ONLY alternative management had to give it any chance to get started again.   I guess we will wait to see what happens after the ...more

One other thing, as i once told you i've been with FS before it was named FS, forget the other name. But before that the other named company had  gotten up to 70 mil shares outstanding, did a 1:10 r/s and you have what you have now. Now what does this tell you. You can check and you will find this to be true. DO the DD. Let me know or the BB if you care, i'll hold this one for a loss. ...more

Colt...always appreciate your point of view.   I know before the Alaska properties the company held oil claims in Montana.   When they originally made the transition to the Gold  properties in Alaska the company had some success but then I think the old shareholders, Wishart included, decided to jump ship. Every good drill result was met with a wave of selling. Mr Campbell was left ...more
