Ugandan Gold
I have seen an article which claims that Uganda has discovered "31 million metric tons of gold", but later on in the same article, it states that the figure is "12.5 tonnes" (see https://www.miningreview.com/news/uganda-discovers-gold-deposits-worth-12-trillion-usd).
Which is it ?
A BBC article states that "Their latest figure for all the gold in the world is 171,300 tonnes", so I'm guessing that the 12.5 tonnes figure is more like it.
If so, the GQC find is worth a lot more (well over 70 tons) ...
