PREPA meeting

Very interesting discussion on the shovel ready projects in today's meeting. The 150mw WILL be chosen and brought before the PREPA board for approval BEFORE the end of this month. Then they'll be presented to the FOMB. They also mentioned the possibility of the FOMB approving all 593mw but the 150mw is still what they want right now so that's what PREPA is focused on. Also, PREB has stated they want PREPA to pursue 1000mw with 500mw of storage. This is apparently an increase in new renewable generation from before. I'm sure Jeff will comment on the meeting sometime today as well.

Things are looking up. I like how they commented that they had 593 MW "teed-up" to say yes to and then FOMB stabbed them in the back, bushed them down the stairs and burned down the house (ok, I added that last bit). So if I understand what they were saying, we could learn from the FOMB meeting this week about the status of the 150 MW vs all 593 MW being allowed? Furthermore, I wonder ...more

Do we have any idea on when the PREPA BOD will be presented/approve the 150mw? Does PREPA meet weekly?

I'll need to rewatch the video, but I seem to remember two time frames. 1 week to discuss with current members, and next meeting to get input from new member. But it was quick, and I'm not positive.
