Building costs and inflation

Hi Jeff,

I know we have touched upon this point before, but should we be worried about the persistent high inflation, and the impact on the building costs for Sage Ranch? Or should you be able to oncharge the (bulk of the) increased building costs to the purchasers?

In any case, good luck next week with the evidentiary hearing on Montalva! (still hoping this project will suddenly be approved, but that is probably way too naive)

Allanapotashbelgium ... Altus added another 39% to the actual cost to build inside the actual vertical cost which was already marked up, so building materials would have to go up another 39% before we would increase prices.  However, selling prices are rising higher than material cost. Remember this is large scale production homes which is another world from building in major US or Canadian ...more
