Consideration by GRZ re Brisas and the Crystallex

What did GRZ put into the pot to Venezuela for the participation of the joint mining effort ?
In other words what was the consideration paid if any by GRZ for Venezuela / Maduro and his henchmen to agree to the joint participation?

Once the award is paid out by the courts that pretty much pays out Brisas.
Can you collect multiple times of the same sin ? Not Likely !

They're not the same sin. The ICSID award was compensation for the expropriation of Brisas. Later, that dispute was settled. The settlement gave GRZ 45% ownership of Siembra Minera. Then the Maduro government reneged on the deal via an underhanded manoeuvre. This has opened the door to a possible (much bigger) ICSID case. God knows. Initially when I bought GRZ and RML last year, my aim was waiting and forget them even for a decade. Time goes by, the world changes, maybe in the distant future, Venezuela finds its way back to the international community, the better part of the world. And then they may have to settle a lot of what they owe, at least at a significant discount. But only small fractions of  bn -s of

I'm sure you're right that Venezuela will never willingly pay what I called award #2. But that kind of misses the point. Especially if it's then post-Maduro, the real objective would be to get the 45% of SM back.

Grz has all the mining data of the Brisas property which is comprised of more than a dozen years ..It is definitely worth possibly hundreds of millions...It would be able to push the project into production within a short time rather than spend the next decade doing this work..I believe this could push the share price by another 3 to 5 dollars USD ..all together Grz is closer to 12 USd..

It's only worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.  Right now, and for probably quite a while, that is zero, unfortunately.

Just like Trump who finally lost big time(Trump owes $83.3 Million). Gold Reserve pay day is coming.Just hang in there.The court denied Venezula's Appeal(Their last ditch effort). Now they must paid Gold Reserve.$10 usd Minimum.I can not wait for this to play out.
