Not sure what went wrong for me, I was just in the "regular" board meeting from just after 3 pm to 3:30 pm, maybe I missed the awarding of the contracts. Was the awarding of the contracts at the beginning of the meeting?

The approval of the contracts was part of the resolutions that were passed all at the same time. That's how they approve the contracts. The contracts are resolutions in the agenda.

Ah...maybe that went by too quickly for me. Interesting to see the soundoff by one user on the "L" and a board member come on and say that there was no concern with human waste, drugs, etc. No solid plan for more police presence, perhaps more monitored security cameras are the solution?

They don't get into passing each contract at the monthly Board meeting. That's done by the committees which was completed last Thursday. They rarely turn down a contract at the Board level once it's approved at the committee level.

It's the additional flow of contract news esp. from a key customer SEPTA that will give some hope that GSI will see revenue growth this year.
