ENOUGH WITH EIKE AND CBJ

He wants to consolidate THE MOUNTAIN !!!!! REMEMBER THIS FROM RJ.................

"AUX has constructed a large camp (reportedly with ~400 people on site), has from 13 to 19 drill rigs operating (depending on who is asked), and commenced ground support in the high wall behind a proposed portal site. Surprisingly the location of the portal was in the northeastern part of their claims closer to the Eco Oro boundary.  We would have expected the portal to be located central to AUX’s mineralization to provide access both to the northeast and to the southwest portions. We also saw an environmental team collecting water quality samples and measuring flow rates from subsidiary creeks – presumably part of new nvironmental base-line study."

EIKE WILL NOT BUY CBJ ANYTIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE, FORGET IT. THE EQUITY FINANCING IS ANOTHER NAIL IN THAT COFFIN...............LOOK AT THE ACTION IN EOM......THAT LOOKS LIKE THE HEADFAKE TO ME. All IMHO opinion of course. Eike is probably pushing the Colombian govt. to approve and he will jump in just ahead of a public release......

Bad Oak not telling the folks what they want to hear.............truth hurts

You may be right, however: 1.  The Vetas spinco (if it happens) and CBJ do look like natural partners with promising prospects. 2.  EB obviously wanted a foot in the Vetas camp since a deal only involving Calif would have been more simple to arrange. 3.  If EB has no short term interest in CBJ, then he may have to deal with Beatty in the longer term

I agree absolutely GEEF. Down the road some combination will occur. Beaty buying GWY Vetas, GWY Vetas buying CBJ or a 3rd party buying both. But right now IMHO EB has unfinished business on Mount Batista.   I'm sure he is trying to  get Columbia's approval to dig higher up and to have EOM's land package classified as non paramo. If anyone thinks I am pumping EOM, you can ...more

I agree Oakarbor.  The market cap of EOM is currently only $85 million and their total gold resource is something like 15M ounces.  Batista will bring a lot of clout to the government and once given assurances that the region will be labelled non-paramo, he will consolidate the whole mountain.

I believe Beatty's position (10%) in Ventana was instrumental in EB having to increase the Ventana offer.  EB position in Vetas Spin Co could be payback to RB, if RB wants to purchase Vetas. RB's pockets are not as deep as EB's. I personally think EB's position in Vetas will result in Vetas Spin Co buying CBJ. Then EB will buy Vetas for basically peanuts.
