you won't see $3 again for another few weeks assuming BTC approaches 40k before March. Sorry hive investors, but the reality is this company is over bloated. If BTC sees $100k USD, you'll be lucky if you get over $8CAD/share. Other crypto stocks will blow HIVE out of the water this year, since most of them are still way undervalued. I know most of you think positive ESP is the only metric ...more

Alpha, which other companies do you think are better valued crypto miners?
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 03, 2021 2:37pm
HUT8 is solid. They have been hodling their coins for years. On balance today they have over $110 million USD in BTC at the current price. If BTC runs, HUT can easily triple or more in capital gains from their current price. BITF and DMGI are a little diffrent. They are so small right now. If BTC runs, these 2 companies have a ton of runway. I can see both theses companies tripling at BTC 50kUSD ...more

the other thing to consider is HIVE is the most popular crypto miner in Canada. So, it's already over inflated. I hear a lot of people here think ETH will have an effect on its price but thats just wishful thinking. Most people who invest in crypto stocks have little to know understanding of crypto. People are playing these stocks as a proxy to BTC, not ETH. Its very apparent ETH is not moving ...more

Hive is focusing on Capacity and have capitalzed their prodcution for the eventual "big public realization" that Crypto is needed in eveyones portfolio. The miners that just keep coins as opposed to building capacity are short term thikers and will do OK in the short run - HIVE will have massive cost advantage when the market really accepts Crypto.  IMO: HIVE is focused on growth ...more

You should do your research Haido. HUT has much more mining power then HIVE already. HIVE will never catch HUT in hash rate. Not only is huts mining power 5 times larger then HIVE, they just raised 75 million US to expand. So your theory doesn't check out.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 03, 2021 4:12pm
then Haiku, this biggest hive problem is the one HIVE investor promote the most. ETH mining. Hive is a dinosaur. Investing in Hive is like investing is gasoline car makers or in Blackberry as a phone maker before they crashed. Ethereum GPU mining is dieing. Sure, it will be around for 2 more years. But who invests in a company with a 2 year horizon. Other then stupid HIVE investors. And even if ...more

Did you know DMGI is a hosting client to HIVE? If you're a real investor you should know this. Basically if HIVE does well DMGI will do well. You should understand this. Go comment on boards you're invested in sir.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 03, 2021 5:22pm
Oh your so smart. Yet if you bought the dipmon HIVE, you made 25% and if you bought is on DMGI, im up 40%. Hmmmm????? Keep guessing kid.....

sorry bullfire, im sorry you suck and you just another HIVE cheerleader. But I dont post for people who sck hives d!ck all day. Im here for people who want to maximize their gains in crypto and take advantage of the situations. The rest of you loawrs can hold hive up to $5 and continue to hold it back to 50 cents. Losers

I am going to leave this link here so people can understand Ethereum a bit better and come to there own conclusions where this is going....good luck to all !! https://boxmining.com/proof-of-stake/ The advantage of proof of stake is huge. One benefit is that you no longer have to do the calculations which mean you save a lot of computational power. Another one is that you actually lock up ...more

these idiots come here chasing the rally loosing money left and right but have so much to say. I rode hive from $.36 to $3.30 at about 1/2 million capital gains is a tfsa. I think I have a say. Get lost losers. Now I'm riding DMGI from $1.08 to $5 b!tches.
Comment by Nickmann on Feb 03, 2021 11:02pm
Hey Alpha, I know you know everything, but a capital gain is a gain in an asset that you pay taxes on. In a TFSA you dont pay taxes on capital gains. Looks like you need to do a little more reading so you don't end up giving away your incredible gains to the tax man.  P.S. The tax man is someone you pay taxes to when you are old enough to work.
Comment by Micster1 on Feb 03, 2021 11:10pm
Nickman, well said that will get you a Thumbs up.
Comment by greendaze on Feb 03, 2021 11:14pm

Don't listen to nickmann guys , keep buying and selling while puffing that stogie . Also buy the most expensive scotch . You've earned it with your trading genius!!!
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 03, 2021 11:19pm
Are you slow Nick.i know i don't pay taxes on gains. Thats the point. I made 1/2 a million.. no tax.....
Comment by Nickmann on Feb 03, 2021 11:48pm
Slow enough to know there are NO capital gains in a TFSA, hence TF stands for TAX FREE.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 1:42am
ya, we're all aware, are you not following the conversation? Maybe your just retarded
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 1:44am
actually no, your just retarded. I understand what your saying now. Of course you make capital gains if your stocks go up in price Nick. Maybe try reading what capital gain means dumb@ss..
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 1:52am
BTW, who liked this post? id like to know who else is retarded. Bc what he said here make no sense.
Comment by Nickmann on Feb 04, 2021 9:17am
I like it. In Canada, 50% of the value of any capital gains are taxable. Should you sell the investments at a higher price than you paid (realized capital gain) — you'll need to add 50% of the capital gain to your income. Again, no such thing as a capital gain in a TFSA.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 9:31am
Wow, whose going good tell this guy? Buddy, some real advice. Don't invest in stocks if you don't understand the basics. Try mutual funds. There are better suited for beginners. Capital Gains - a profit from the sale of property or an investment.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 9:34am
there is no capital gains TAX in a TFSA. You'd have to make a profit and incur a capital gain in your investment for there to be no tax on capital gains in the first place. I feel like I'm explaining this to a monkey. :S
Comment by Nickmann on Feb 04, 2021 9:50am
Hey. You are finally getting it. Good Boy.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 9:54am
wow your level of stupidity is beyond normal. You still make a "capital gain" in a TFSA. "Capital gain" and "capital gain TAX" is 2 different things numbnuts. Just don't talk to me. Your way to basic to waste time on.
Comment by Nickmann on Feb 04, 2021 10:04am
Dead WRONG. A Capital Gain is a taxable gain, since you do NOT pay taxes within a TFSA then it is not a Capital Gain but just a Gain. Quick readings for you are Accounting 101 or Basic Finance for Pre-Schoolers. Either will help you understand better.
Comment by AlphaJ on Feb 04, 2021 10:09am
You need to learn how to read and look up definitions before making very stupid comments........ A tax-free savings account (TFSA, French: Compte d'pargne libre d'impt, CELI) is an account available in Canada that provides tax benefits for saving. Investment income, including capital gains and dividends. CAPITAL GAIN means you made a profit on a sale you retard. Taxes is a separate subject ...more
