List of Limited Partners is available!

Man I love the internet. It helps to find quick answers. Is anybody here in Vancouver? Please go in the DiGiT's office and ask for a Copy of the Shareholder List ASAP. We are all entitled to it as Limited Partners. You get me that list and I will make an impact. I don't live near Vancouver. If they don't let you copy the list, they have broken the Limited Partnership Act. Phone them and ask where the registered office is. That is where the shareholder register is. All I want is an opportunity for fellow investors to hear my concerns, before they vote. https://www.qp.gov.bc.ca/statreg/stat/P/96348_01.htm#part3 54 (1) A limited partnership must have a registered office in British Columbia. (2) A limited partnership must keep at its registered office (a) a register showing in alphabetical order for each limited partner (i) the full name and last known residential address of each limited partner or, in the case of a limited partner other than an individual, the name and address in British Columbia, and (ii) if the participation by limited partners is defined by percentage interests or by the number of units or other similar rights held by them, the percentage interest or the number and class of units or other rights held, (b) a copy of the certificate of limited partnership and each amendment made to it, and (c) a copy of the partnership agreement and each amendment made to it. (3) Subject to subsection (4), the records kept under subsection (2) must be available for inspection and copying during ordinary business hours at the request of a partner and, in the case of the list of names and addresses of the partners, any other person. (4) The records kept under subsection (2) by a limited partnership that is a reporting issuer must be available for inspection and copying during ordinary business hours at the request of any person. (5) A limited partnership must give notice in writing to the registrar (a) of the location of the registered office at the time the certificate is filed under section 51 (1), and (b) promptly, of every change in the location of the registered office.

I have contacted Michael Thornton requesting a list of limited partner shareholders. I also reminded him of two things. 1. when we first invested the concept was that we were to get all of our investment back before Michael Thornton got a dime. The proposed deal gets around this concept. 2. two years ago when the master partnership was formed Michael Thornton specifically said the shares ...more

dmclean12 when did M. Thornton say you would get the list? Is he stalling on sending it to you? Is there anyone who can get it by Friday afternoon in Vancouver?

No Response from Thornton (or is it Ebbers, Lay, or Thow we are dealing with?). At this point we have to hope that they do not already have enough proxy votes to get a Yes, as they did when the master partnership was created.

"No Response from Thornton (or is it Ebbers, Lay, or Thow we are dealing with?)." dmclean, I am not sure which law firm is representing the bidders. Do you think it might be that prestigious, Vancouver law firm favoured by insiders: Cheatum, Skruem & Fugedaboudem?

I worried about the insiders already owning enough shares to carry the vote to. It seems to me if they have been working on this for months they would have been soaking up the shares in the market for a little as 27 cents from the same distressed investors that MT claims to feel so sorry for. Because of traditional unitholder apathy we should expect a great number of non responses, which in ...more
