RE:RE:RE:RE:Down another 14%

Just as an acknowledgement. As I have said in the past the most recent PCA arbitration case for an expropriated project is the TMI and Bolivia, of which I unfortunately (like Stans) well aware.

The TMI case took approximately 3 years to reach the respondent and claimant’s post hearing briefs, which then triggered the panel award analysis. The actual award decision was issued 22 months later and that was just to arrive at sunk costs only (with %).

There has now been a 9 month wait (and waiting) since the issue of the TMI award, and still no agreement as to who will do/pay what. Yes, I agree that the Stans award could be issued tomorrow. However, it could be much longer, and the SP will remain in limbo till then (I have not read any reasons why Russia should be concerned about Stans and its lithium project pushing forward, and Stans is in no financial position to do so).

Also, remember that the TMI award ‘standoff’ is over only $28 mill and Bolivia has a record of having made payments (most reduced) on some of these awards given previously . Krygyz has no such record and won’t apparently pay even approx. a Stans ¼ mill award from a couple of years ago. Neither has Stans/funders gone after them to avoid a precedent.

Again, the judgement could be tomorrow and Krygyz could pay in full a matter of months. However, The anecdotal evidence unfortunately does not suggest that both these factors will fall in lock step for Stans over the near term.

I disagree. From what i read about  Trimetals it appears they only had a deposit and it was not operational. The plant Stan's owned before the exproperation was operational. There's a video on YT of Robert Mckay showing a kilo of a Rare Earth Element to Investor Intel that was processed at the facility. I'm not an expert ut I believe if Stan's wins part of the award will take ...more

I have been following this company for years now and have been reading this bull board to follow the arbitration case.  Two people who post here stand out for their quality of posts and their knowledge of law and they  are Kaliahk and now 123buyholdhope.  This arbitration case will be won by Stans Energy Corp  after having the property taken from them by the Kyrgyzstan ...more

Thanks for the comment. Maybe you have already seen the following. Well worth a read re., Kyrgyz and its economic plight/investments/cases. Where did you find these numbers?
Comment by Derpdude on Apr 28, 2019 8:16pm
I believe he's refering to kaliahk's post about calenius Capital being owed $30 Million (which is true based on Boris at the AGM saying their payment would be cost plus X3-4x. Calanius put up $7.5 Million so a factor of x4 is 30 Million) and kaliahk also said Stan's would probably have to pay Calenius another $30 to collect the award yet Kaliahk failed to mention that at the AGM Boris ...more

Arbritrationpro,so you also beleive shareholders will not get any money for their shares in Stan's?....Thank you

First of all, I repeat, I expect Stans to win the arbitration but most awards are less than claimed. To expect the full award is not reasonable for the shareholders and the timeline to collect could be longer than most people here think.  As I said to monetize any excess to the funders first right to the funds awarded will only be done at the same kind of formula that Boris Aryev   ...more

Yeah in 2017 I think, Stan's was awarded $222,000ish USD plus cost when the Republic tried to have the UN tribunal's judgement in favor of Stan's set aside. It was rejected. I'm not a lawyer and Stan's lost twice on a technicality when trying to get Canadian Courts to sieze the Republic's Stake in Centerra Gold. But Hypothetically IF Stan's wins is there any way of ...more

It’s a fair question Derpdude. I looked at Centerra’s assets from factsheet and recent presentation. Seems approx. 34% of NAV is centered in Krygyz, 66% is divided between projects in Canada, Turkey and US. Exploration projects are all in Turkey, Canada, Portugal and Nicaragua etc. Top 10 institutional shareholders (approx., 38%) appear to be unrelated to Krygyz. I think if Krygyz had a ...more
