The more I dig into gold mining operations in the south pacific, Kalo Gold (TSXV: KALO) is really starting to pique my interest.
There are dozens of multi-million-ounce gold deposits in the Indo-Australian Plate region, and $KALO.v hopes to add its Vatu Aurum property to this list.
$KALO.v holds a significantly sized land package that is relatively unexplored. The Vatu property is almost 1.5 times bigger than Lion One Metals (TSXV: LIO) project in the region. $LIO.v has been developing in the region for about a decade and is currently trading at $1.22.
Given Kalo’s land package, hopes are high that the company will be able to find high-value gold deposits. The company has 2 drills on the property and will be commencing its phase 2 drill program, expanding on airborne IP surveys flown in 2021.
Drill results for this phase 2 program will prove to be a huge catalyst should Kalo deliver positive results.
$KALO.v is currently trading at $.185 and is valued at $11.76 million.
