Merry Christmas All

I wish you all merry christmas and prosperous 2011.

LFD is showing signs that 2011 would be a great year!

We have oil, we have the high quality, all we need to show in 4 to 7 months is that we can drill this field and commercialize the oil and the we would be soaring like CMK did today! LFD would indeed fly if we could be test at least 5000 from the whole 250 to 700 m oil column.

Looking forward to next year with great outlook for LFD.

Here's the thing,  there is no data from this well,  other than it produced 4875 bbls/d in 1936.   Other wells producedat an initial rate of 200 bbls/d,  then declined within a day to 25 bbls/d and considered non commercial. We are left with the 4875 bbls/d... and don't know if it's sustainable.  In any case,  the best case scenario is this,4875 bopd less ...more

Where is the source. I dont see it anything from LFD p0resentation materialI'd ask good40 for the answers but he seems to be ...more

Do not ever believe what Good40 is saying. He is also saying the same gibberish on SNM board. What you must know regarding the wells are the following which is based on SEDAR filings and data from World Petroleum Congress in 1950s: - wells CS1 to CS6 were drilled less than 1000 m. Some of them hit into pockets of oil accummulation in the lower fars formation and subsequent analysis indicate that ...more

EOIM... Wells one and two produced at 200 bbls/d,  dropped to 25 bbls/d within one day.  That is the truth, you know it,  so does everyone else. The decline factor of a producing well is natural,  happens with all wells.  The 4800 bbls/d in 1936 was probably the initial flush production number,  it certainly wasn't measured over a month. It wasn't revisited for ...more
