What's with this company?

As I understand things, at one time Mason (LLG) owned a whack of Nanoxplore shares which it sold to Martinrea in order to use the funds to progress the development of their graphite deposit. Shares had traded around .80 to $ 1.00.

Nanoxplore as well as other POTENTIAL graphene suppliers ( eg; Black Swan )are going to need graphite feedstock and Mason seems to have a lot of the bits and pieces in place to supply as well as a reasonably positioned graphite mine. 

So why zero apparent interest in Mason Graphite?

SOTP valuation in part explains some of what you are zoning in on Dumont. I own a relatively very small equity position here ith Mason Graphite. In a previous post here I explained why most of any move in share price appreciation, in terms of actual development of the graphite bearing lands parcels into actually becoming a graphite mining project specifically, would now accrue for Nouveau Monde ...more

Thanks, 1Student,  Greatly appreciate the feedback.  I must admit to being somewhat curious about Mason Graphite and Benoit Gascon's relationship with Mason , where he was CEO as I understand things , and was coincidentally lead Director for Nanoxplore where he still resides. Not sure if he engineered the Mason investment in Nano, and subsequent sale of Nano shares at $1.35 to ...more

Yes. Mr. Gascon certainly made the right choice Dumont. I am not counting Black Swan Graphene out just yet. Thomas Swan representatives likely have the support of some deep pocketed U.K. backers who needed Thomas Swan to join forces with a TSXV listed company, Mason Graphite, in order to preemptively tap into the North American graphite bearing lands development and graphite mining scene with a ...more
